Sheva Sanders presents at 2015 Health Law Institute
Sheva Sanders will present "New health care Boilerplate in Med Device/Pharma Contracting" at this year's Health Law Institute. The seminar is June 4-5, 2015 at the Minnesota CLE Conference Center in Minneapolis.
This session will walk through sample consulting agreement provisions to address the “when, why and how” of some of the standard considerations that should be attended to in connection with health care contracts in the med device/pharma space, including: ensuring fair market value consideration; Sunshine and state gift ban and transparency compliance; anti-kickback and safe harbor compliance; reps and warranties related to excluded and debarred individuals; change in laws provisions; and employer/institution sign off and anti-conflict of interest disclosure requirements.
Sanders advises health care, managed care, medical device, pharmaceutical and life sciences clients on complex corporate and regulatory issues, including fraud and abuse, compliance, reimbursement and transactional matters. A frequent teacher, speaker and writer on topics related to health law and health policy, she has been an adjunct professor at William Mitchell College of Law and Hamline University School of Law.
