Sharon Ng to Moderate Panel on Running for Public Office at ACEL Dynamics of Leadership Conference
Sharon Ng will be a panel moderator at the upcoming Asian Corporate and Entrepreneur Leaders (ACEL) Dynamics of Leadership conference July 7-9, 2017 at the Wild Horse Pass Hotel in Chandler, Ariz.
ACEL's vision is to be the proving ground for Asian American professionals, forging leaders of tomorrow through professional development, cultural awareness, community service and mentorship. The conference will feature a line-up of speakers addressing a range of inspirational, contemporary topics for ACEL members and non-members.
At 2:30 p.m. July 8 Sharon will moderate a panel entitled "Running for Public Office 101: Your Hands on Guide to Public Office." Arizona State Senator Kimberly Yee and California State Assemblyman Rob Bonta will serve as panelists.
Sharon is a partner in the firm's Phoenix office and chair of the firm’s Tribal Law and Governance practice group. She has experience in representing legislative bodies and key witnesses with respect to independent investigations of individual legislative members. In her practice, she represents both plaintiffs and defendants in commercial disputes. She also defends clients in employment disputes and provides guidance with respect to employment and labor law.
