Russell Frisby, Jr. will present "Productivity Promises of (and Regulatory Challenges Facing) New Platforms in Travel and Transportation” at this year's National Association for Business Economics (NABE) Annual Meeting. The conference runs from October 10-13, 2015 at the Grand Hyatt in Washington, DC.
Jamie Wong, CEO of Vayable, will join Russell October 12 for a segment which will address and provide insight on:
- Regulatory challenges and hurdles from sharing economy services
- Ramifications associated with sharing services
- Economic value-add from the sharing economy and how it fits with the traditional travel/transportation services
Frisby, Jr. focuses his practice on regulatory and corporate matters affecting entities in the communications, energy and technology areas. He represents clients in administrative proceedings, litigation and advocacy efforts, and also provides these clients with strategic and corporate advice. Russell has represented clients in matters before the Administration, Congress, the Federal Communications Commission, the Department of Energy, the Federal Trade Commission, state utility commissions, state legislatures, and federal courts.
