Russell Frisby, Jr. to Present at the Future of American Electricity Policy Academy
Russell Frisby, Jr. will present at the Council of State Governments' "The Future of American Electricity Policy Academy" Sept. 21-23, 2016 at the Marriot Marquis Hotel in Washington, DC.
The two day event is designed to educate key state policymakers on energy and electricity issues. It will provide attendees with a comprehensive overview of electric power and a better understanding of the economic and regulatory issues facing the industry.
Russell will speak at 10:45 a.m. Sept. 22 as part of the "Consumer Look at Policies that Drive New Technologies" session.
He is a partner in the firm's energy division and co-leader of the telecommunications practice group. He practices in Washington, DC. His practice focuses on regulatory and corporate matters affecting entities in the communications, energy and technology areas. He has represented clients in regulatory matters before the Federal Communications Commission, the Department of Energy, the Federal Trade Commission, state utility commissions, state legislatures and federal courts. Russell is a past chairman of the Maryland Public Service Commission.
