Parthy Evans, Lisa Funderburg, Sarah Toevs Sullivan Will Present at Midwest Environmental Compliance Conference

Stinson Leonard Street attorneys Parthy Evans, Lisa Funderburg and Sarah Toevs Sullivan will be featured speakers at the Midwest Environmental Compliance Conference May 11-13, 2016 at the Marriott Hotel in Overland Park, Kansas.

Parthy will moderate the panel discussion “Regional and State Enforcement Priorities” This session will address the interaction between state and federal enforcement, highlight key areas of regional concern, and address both Environmental Protection Agency and state priorities in air, waste and water.

Lisa and Sarah will be a part of a panel discussion "Compliance Tools in a Changing World". The session will discuss a variety of topics including corporate demonstration projects, legal considerations when carrying out an audit, top 10 tips for conducting an audit and the EPA’s new self-disclosure e-disclosure policy.

Parthy is a partner in the firm's Kansas City office. She has a wide variety of experience in environmental regulatory and administrative matters, pre-litigation settlements, internal investigations, corporate and property transactions and water rights. She represents clients in the electric generating utilities, agribusiness, mining, pipeline and manufacturing industries.

Lisa is a partner in the firm's Decatur, Ill. office. She assists her clients in a wide range of environmental issues before both federal and state agencies. She has extensive nationwide experience with all regulatory areas of environmental law. She has served as lead counsel on several multi-party Superfund and environmental cleanup matters.

Sarah is a partner in the firm's Kansas City office. She has represented chemical and food manufacturers, aviation manufacturers, electric and gas utilities, pipelines, retailers, financial institutions and real estate companies in all aspects of environmental law, including Superfund, RCRA, the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act and EPCRA.
