Parthy Evans, Aimee Davenport to Present on Air and Water Issues at Midwest Environmental Compliance Conference
Stinson Leonard Street partners Parthy Evans and Aimee Davenport will be presenting at the Midwest Environmental Compliance Conference April 11-12, 2018 at the Kansas City Convention Center in Kansas City, Missouri.
At 7:50 a.m. April 12 Parthy is moderating a panel discussion entitled: "Regional Air Panel: Operating in a New and Uncertain Regulatory Climate." The group will address how changes at the United States Environmental Protection Agency 7 will impact all the Midwest region; ozone; SSM update; new litigation over NSR and interstate transport; backlog of MACT, NSPS, SO2, and permit streamlining.
At 8:40 a.m. April 12 Aimee Davenport is speaking on the "Regional Water Issues Panel." The group will provide a regional update on water quality standards, nutrients, groundwater issues, and implications for remediation.
Parthy is a partner in the firm's Kansas City office. Her practice spans the areas of environment, energy, natural resources and agriculture. She has a wide variety of experience in environmental regulatory and administrative matters, pre-litigation settlements, internal investigations, corporate and property transactions and water rights. She has handled complex permitting and enforcement defense matters under the Clean Air Act and Clean Water Act in many states and EPA regions, has settled numerous environmental enforcement matters.
Aimee is an energy and environmental partner in the firm's Jefferson City office. She works with her local government and business clients to develop comprehensive strategies to manage new requirements and to resolve issues with governmental agencies and interested parties. Before entering private practice she served as deputy general counsel to the Missouri Department of Natural Resources.
