Michelle Corrigan to Present at Consumer Products Litigation Conference
Stinson Leonard Street invites you to the Harris Martin Consumer Products Conference. Partner Michelle Corrigan is a featured speaker and will also be co-chairing the conference.
The conference is March 16, 2017 at the Ritz Carlton in Dana Point, Calif. It will bring together leading practitioners in products liability matters to discuss the most noteworthy topics and recent developments in the industry.
Michelle will be a part of the discussion on state and federal regulations of children's products, entitled "Children's Products – CA Prop 65 and Federal Regulations."
Keven Barton from the Consumer Product Safety Commission will be presenting a segment entitled "Consumer Products Safety Commission: Who We Are & What We Do," which will include an overview of the CPSC's role in governing the safety of all consumer products sold in the United States.
Additional presentations include a discussion on the safety of e-cigarettes, hoverboards and lithium ion batteries, an analysis of current litigation involving vehicle emissions issues, and a roundup of recent U.S. Supreme Court and appellate decisions that affect consumer products.
Michelle is a partner in the firm's St. Louis office and the head of the firm's children's products group. She represents manufacturers and distributors in products liability litigation in both state and federal courts throughout the United States. She also consults with product manufacturers on issues related to warnings and labeling for their products.
