Korean Business Development Opportunities Discussion
Since U.S. President Donald Trump’s meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un in June in Singapore, many throughout the business communities in the U.S., Korea and elsewhere are optimistic about possible business opportunities related to North Korea.
- What opportunities could this bring?
- Who may benefit from improved relations with North Korea?
- What can investors do now?
Join guest speaker Hank Imm, a long-time Minnesota resident of Korean heritage, to share his knowledge and insight on this topic. Hank has been living and working in Seoul since 2014 as an international investment advisor and consultant between Korea and the U.S. He formerly ran the Korea office of Minnesota Trade Office in Seoul from 2014 to 2017 to promote billateral trade between Minnesota and South Korea.
Drawing from various discussions taking place among the policy makers, business executives and other leaders in South Korea, Hank will share his perspectives on the present and the future surrounding the Korean peninsula.
Prior to his position with the Minnesota Trade Office’s Korea office, he devoted almost 20 years to international business consulting between Korea and Minnesota. His consulting activities ranged from product exports and technology transfer to representation of Korean investor groups in the U.S.
