Jonathan Schneider to Present on Distributed Solar Power at Energy Conference
Jonathan Schneider is presenting at the Energy and Environment section of 34th Annual National CLE Conference Jan. 4-8, 2017 in Aspen, Colorado.
His presentation is at 7 a.m. Jan. 5 and is entitled "Distributed Solar Power – Revolution or Science Project?" In the talk, Jon places rooftop solar development in the context of the nation's overall energy and environmental strategy, considering the fate of the Clean Power Plan and state-based efforts to promote renewable energy. He will address consistently improving technology and price declines for rooftop solar, but also the ongoing relative economic advantages of utility-scale renewable power.
Jonathan is a partner in the firm’s Washington, DC office. For 25 years, he has been active across a broad range of energy issues, ranging from restructuring in the electric and gas industries to traditional rate regulation. He is an experienced administrative litigator, with extensive transactional experience in the regulated arena.
