Johnny Wang will present "Practice Pointers for HR Investigations in Smaller Organizations," at the upcoming Midwest Public Risk 2015 Fall Conference. The conference is Sept.10-12, 2015 at the Hilton Branson Convention Center in Branson, Missouri.
For smaller organizations, HR investigations are frequently overlooked or discounted due to the few number of employees and close knit nature of the work place. This presentation will address the practical implications of why we do HR investigations, how it plays out in the context of litigation and how to effectively conduct an HR investigation when dealing with small work environments.
Johnny focuses his practice on counseling employers in all facets of labor and employment matters. In short, he solves headaches caused by employees by offering practical solutions that considers the business implications. Johnny is currently the President of the Asian American Chamber of Commerce and is a past president of the Missouri Asian American Bar Association. In 2013, Johnny was a named an Up and Coming lawyer by Missouri Lawyers' Weekly and a Diverse Business Leader in 2012 by the St. Louis Business Journal. He presents regularly on domestic and international HR issues, as well as on diversity and inclusion topics.
