John Munich, Russ Frisby, Jon Schneider, Bill Greene and Harvey Reiter will Present at APPA Conference

Stinson Leonard Street attorneys John Munich, Russ Frisby, Jon Schneider Harvey Reiter and Bill Greene will be featured speakers at the upcoming American Public Power Association Land & Regulatory Conference Oct. 16-19, 2016 at the Hyatt Regency Long Beach in Long Beach, Calif.

Harvey and Bill will present at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 16 on "Legal Issues with Solar Development." Their presentation explore the legal and policy issues surrounding rebates and feed-in tariffs, utility-scale solar projects, community solar, rooftop solar, and utility-owned residential solar. Attendees will learn how to balance what customers want with what the utility can deliver.

John's presentation is at 2:15 p.m. Oct. 18 and is entitled "A-Z of Effective Internal Investigation." Attendees to will get a blue print for assembling, initiating and conducting and internal corporate investigation.

Russ and Jon present at 8:30 a.m. Oct 19. Their presentation is "Grid Security: New Federal Authority and Information Sharing." Their presentation will examine the latest developments in grid resilience, data privacy, and physical, supply chain and data security.

The APPA's Land & Regulatory Conference is an educational and professional development opportunity specifically designed for attorneys—both in-house and outside counsel—to learn about current legal and regulatory issues affecting public power, as well as the practical legal issues facing municipal utilities. The seminar is also useful to anyone who oversees utility policy, including senior and mid-level utility managers and elected and appointed policymakers.
