John Granda, Jack Bowling and T.J. Lynn will Present Strategies for Shareholder Communication

Stinson Leonard Street attorneys Jack Bowling, John Granda and T.J. Lynn will take part in an upcoming panel discussion sponsored by the Kansas City chapters of the National Association of Corporate Directors and the National Investor Relations Institute. 

The program starts at 8 a .m. Dec. 15, 2016 at the Indian Hills Country Club, 6841 Tomahawk Road, Mission Hills, KS 66208. The discussion is entitled "Strategies and Techniques for Effective Shareholder Communication, Interaction with Activist Investors and Takeover Preparedness." 

Jack will co-moderate the panel discussion and John and T.J. will be featured speakers. 

Jack is deputy chair of the firm's Corporate Finance Division. He represents companies, private equity and venture capital funds with M&A transactions, investment and joint venture transactions.

John chairs the firm’s Corporate Finance Division. He represents clients in all manner of corporate legal matters, including: securities offerings, mergers, acquisitions, tender and exchange offers, takeover defense, proxy contests, going private, LBOs, SEC reporting and compliance, leveraged recapitalizations, spin-offs, joint ventures, strategic alliances, compliance programs, special committees, internal investigations, SEC enforcement and corporate governance.

T.J. represents privately- and publicly-held companies in corporate acquisitions, dispositions and mergers, as well as public and private placements of securities. He counsels public companies and their boards with respect to strategic alternatives, fiduciary duties, conflict-of-interest transactions, financing, acquisitions and divestitures, and executive compensation, retention and termination.
