Stinson Leonard Street partner James Bertrand will speak at Tulane University's Energy Institute Speaker Series. Bertrand will conduct two presentations; "North Dakota Oil and Gas: Past, Present and Future" and "Renewable Energy Development - The Basics” on March 26, 2015.
Bertrand is the co-chair of the Energy, Mining, Transportation and Telecommunications Division at Stinson Leonard Street. His clients range from start-up energy companies to independent energy producers as well as railroads and financial services companies.
Prior to practicing law, Jim was as judicial clerk to the Honorable Henry A. Politz, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He earned both his B.A. and his M.B.A. from Tulane University and is a former member of the school’s Parents Council. He received his J.D. from George Washington University Law School.
