Clary Redd to Give Keynote Presentation at Annual Colorado Bar Retreat
Clary Redd will be the keynote speaker and a CLE presenter at the Colorado Bar Association's 36th Annual Estate Planning Retreat June 9-11, 2016 at the Westin Snowmass Resort in Snowmass Village, Colo.
Clary's keynote presentation is entitled "Selected Recent Developments in Trust Administration, Fiduciary Litigation and Estate Planning Ethics." It will examine the conflict between fiduciary and beneficiary and a number of recent cases in "hot potato" areas such as trust investments, trust distributions, exculpatory clauses, duties of counsel to the fiduciary and how beneficiaries may, intentionally or not, forfeit their rights to challenge fiduciary acts or omissions.
Clary is one of three presenters for "Anything New with Estate Taxes? Of course!" It is an open forum to discuss ideas to consider when analyzing this year's most talked about estate tax developments. Clary will be joined by David L. Starbuck, of BakerHostetler and Randi Grassgreen, of Crestone Capital Advisors.
Clary is a partner in the firm's St. Louis office, a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, an elected fellow American Law Institute and Co-Chair of Trust & Estates magazine's Editorial Advisory Board. His practice is focused on estate planning, estate and trust administration and estate and trust-related litigation.
