Change is in the Air - Banking Seminar

Firm Events
06.12.2018

Join us Tuesday, June 12 for this CLE session for financial services in-house counsel when Stinson Partner Andrew Muller will discuss what changes at the CFPB could mean for agency enforcement of the Equal Credit Opportunity Act, and why Reg. B could be the next battleground in the war over agency deference.

This Discussion Will Include:

  • Whether new rules promulgated by the CFPB regarding collection of borrower data under the Equal Credit Opportunity Act could signal a trend toward more relaxed enforcement
  • How a dispute over whether spousal guarantors are protected by ECOA and Reg B may be another in a series of opportunities for the Supreme Court to limit the amount of deference given to agency rulemaking

This program will be presented from Stinson's Minneapolis office and videoconferenced to our Denver, Kansas City, St. Cloud, and St. Louis offices. A real-time webinar will be offered for those who cannot attend in person.
