CLE: Conducting Yourself as a Professional
Stinson Leonard Street invites you to attend a professional development program on January 8, 2016. This program will take a deep dive into what it means for attorneys to conduct themselves as "professionals." It will take into account the attorney's oath, what it means for an attorney to be an "officer of the court," and the inner excellences of the practice of law. It will also consider some of the ABA and state professionalism creeds and aspirations, and our program will weave in guidance from the Rules of Professional Conduct, the Rules of Civil Procedure, and the Rules of Evidence, and the application by certain states.
Additionally, the program will provide some practical applications of professionalism principles to the day-to day-practice of law. Learn how professionalism and adhering to the attorney's oath benefits you, your client, and the profession. A must for newer practitioners and a reminder to more experienced attorneys, this program should have something useful for attorneys at all levels and in all areas of practice.
