Ben Court to Present at Equipment Leasing and Finance Association Forum
Stinson Leonard Street partner Ben Court is a featured presenter at the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association's Legal Forum event May 7-9, 2017 in St. Pete Beach, Florida.
Ben will be a part of three sessions:
At 4:15 p.m. May 7 Ben will moderate the panel discussion "Cybersecurity". The panel will explore the new laws and responsibilities for corporate counsel, whether lease/loan disclaimers protect against cyber litigation damages, and what funding sources are, and should be, doing to protect themselves and what they will be requiring of their service providers?
At 8:30 a.m. May 9 he will be part of the panel discussion "Headwinds in the Agricultural Sector: Selected Issues Dealing with Defaults." The panelists will discuss (1) ag sector trends and outlook, (2) bankruptcy trends in the ag sector, (3) remedies in the event of a default, (4) traps for the unwary when exercising remedies and (5) Chapter 12 bankruptcies.
At 9: 45 am. May 9 he will moderate the "Hot Topics" discussion on issues of note, including:

- Usury and State License Law Issues
- IT Financing and the "Cloud"
- Vendor Non-Performance
- Lessee Defenses to Enforcement
