| | Patty chairs the firm's Health Care Group and serves as outside general counsel to several healthcare providers including health systems, physicians and tribally owned health centers and nursing homes. Her work includes advising providers on the structuring of ventures including counsel on federal and state anti-fraud and self-referral laws. She also regularly advises health care clients on risk management, medical staff, confidentiality and privacy including HIPAA, licensure and regulatory matters and non-profit entity issues. Her experience includes membership on the ethics committee of an academic medical center which has provided valuable insight into medical ethical issues. |
