| | Tom, a partner in the firm and chair of the Employee Benefits Group, practices primarily in the areas of qualified pension and profit sharing plans and exempt organizations. From single participant plans to plans with several thousand participants, his experience extends to all types of retirement plans, executive compensation arrangements and ESOPs. He also counsels employers regarding welfare benefit plans as to compliance with ERISA and the tax code. For exempt organizations, Tom has established and obtained IRS recognition of tax-exempt status. |

He now serves as an adjunct faculty member of Kansas University School of Law (Pension and Employee Benefits Law, Executive Compensation, and Selected Issues in International Benefits Law). |
