| | Carl practices almost exclusively with health care providers on a broad range of matters. Prior to entering the legal profession, Carl spent 25 years in health care on administration, most recently as Vice President for Finance and Chief Financial Officer for a large regional medical center. This practical experience enables Carl to understand issues facing clients and work with clients to find practical solutions to complex business situations. Carl has been involved in joint ventures, physician recruitment, service contracts/arrangements, clinic purchases and establishment, reimbursement issues and administrative appeals including Medicare and Medicaid appeals and state reimbursement programs. During his healthcare career Carl served as president of the Nebraska Chapter of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) and The Ak-Sar-Ben Chapter of the American Association of Healthcare Administrative Managers. |
