Stinson Earns Top Rating in 2011 Corporate Equality Index

Stinson Morrison Hecker LLP has earned a top rating of 100 percent in the Human Rights Campaign's 2011 Corporate Equality Index. The annual survey assesses American workplaces on lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender equality. Because of the perfect score, HRC has recognized Stinson as one of the best places to work for LGBT equality. 

HRC assessed more than 30 specific policies and practices covering nearly every aspect of employment for LGBT workers, from non-discrimination protections and training surrounding those policies to domestic partnership and legal dependent benefits to gender transition guidelines and LGBT employee resource groups.

A total of 844 companies were rated in the 2011 CEI, including 130 law firms, with 338 companies receiving the top rating of 100 percent.
