Stinson Morrison Hecker LLP is advising the DeBruce Companies in connection with a transaction in which DeBruce will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Gavilon, LLC. DeBruce, which is the Kansas City area’s third-largest private company, has elevators in Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska, Texas, Kentucky, Oklahoma, Mississippi, Alabama, Indiana, Wisconsin and Mexico. Terms were not disclosed.
Stinson attorneys primarily responsible for the acquisition included David Frantze, Patrick Respeliers, Jack Bowling, Kate Hauber, David Tripp, Phil McKnight, Tony Strait, Dave Everson, Scott Gootee, Katie True-Awtry, Ted Mitchell and Allison Hardy.
