Michael has extensive experience in litigation, with an emphasis on complex commercial cases. He has defended accountants, engineers and other professionals in liability actions, as well as employers in state and federal actions and administrative proceedings. He has litigated personal injury and death, business interference, sexual harassment, restrictive covenant, unfair competition, premises liability, and inadequate security cases. He has defended city and county governments in tort actions, and actively practices in both federal and state courts.
For more than 30 years, Michael has represented financial institutions in a broad range of matters, including business and commercial litigation, lender liability defense, foreclosure and collection proceedings and bankruptcy litigation. He has litigated extensively in business and farm reorganizations on behalf of creditor clients. His practice includes secured transactions, sale of goods, warranty issues and products liability defense.
He represents health care providers in all aspects of their businesses including corporate and real estate matters, regulatory issues and employment disputes. He is involved with real estate management and associated transactions on behalf of businesses.
