Mark is a partner in the firm's Energy, Environment and Natural Resources Division. He is the practice leader of the firm's Climate Change Practice Group. He has assisted a variety of business clients with environmental concerns involving transactional issues, regulatory matters and complex litigation. These concerns have involved all aspects of environmental law, including Superfund, RCRA, the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, toxic torts and environmental insurance. Mark has substantial experience in federal and state courts, arbitrations and administrative proceedings since he joined the firm in 1976. He has been trial counsel in more than 40 trials. He has argued cases on appeal before numerous federal and state appellate courts. He has also been active in the firm’s management in various positions over the years including election to the Executive Committee and appointments to the Practice Management Committee and Recruiting Committee.
