Kip A. Wiggins

Kip is the vice chair of the firm’s Corporate Finance Division and chair of its Venture Capital and Private Equity Capital Group. Since 1975, his extensive business practice has included numerous financing transactions for national, regional and local emerging businesses. He regularly represents venture capital and other types of private equity investors who structure and provide debt and equity financing packages to facilitate growth of business in various stages from start-up companies to private placement investments in publicly held companies. He also represents and advises entrepreneurs and businesses in a wide range of sizes and industries on all types of general corporate and business matters including business contracts, mergers, purchase and sale of stock or assets, securities, finance, shareholder and noncompetition agreements, and other matters involving day-to-day operations as well as long term planning for business and legal issues.
