Chuck Hatfield serves as Chair of the firm's Government Solutions Practice Team, managing partner of the Jefferson City office, and is a member of the firm’s Policy Committee. He practices in a wide range of areas, including government relations, regulatory and administrative law, general litigation and appellate practice. Prior to joining Stinson, Chuck spent 10 years as Chief of Staff and Counsel to Missouri Attorney General Jay Nixon. In that position, Chuck supervised a broad array of complex litigation and policy matters, developed legislative policies for the Attorney General's office and coordinated the Attorney General's involvement in multi-state litigation. He has extensive state court experience and has personally handled a dozen major cases before the Missouri Supreme Court. Chuck regularly appears before administrative agencies, trial courts at both the state and federal levels, and appellate courts.
