Brent’s experience in commercial lending matters includes more than 20 years of representation of banks, commercial finance companies, factors, asset-based lenders and borrowers in structuring, documenting, negotiating and monitoring credit relationships. His experience ranges from basic unsecured loans and middle market lending to complex agented credits with multiple credit facilities, multiple interest rate options and collateral which is diverse in both type and geographic location. His industry experience includes manufacturing, distribution and service businesses. Brent works with lenders and borrowers from proposal and commitment letter development through loan closing, and thereafter on subsequent loan administration matters. Brent works closely with the firm's workout and bankruptcy section on out-of-court loan restructurings as well as court supervised reorganizations and bankruptcies.Brent's experience on general corporate matters includes representation of clients in connection with the formation, acquisition, sale, financing and operation of businesses including small, family-owned businesses and middle market companies.
