Adrienne is a member of the firm’s Energy Group. Her practice concentrates on matters before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) involving the electric and natural gas industries. Adrienne has participated in various matters before the FERC, including proceedings to enforce the FERC’s rules for open access transmission service, formation and operation of regional transmission organizations, and natural gas pipeline rate proceedings. She has also assisted clients in compliance matters, including enforcement actions and audit of existing compliance programs.

Representative Experience

Represented a municipal utility in protecting the interest of end-use customers before the FERC in proceedings regarding the electricity crisis in the Western United States during 2000-2001
On behalf of a transmission-dependent municipal and cooperative utilities, participated in rulemaking proceedings including drafting the Large Generator Interconnection Agreement and Procedures for the FERC Notice of Proposed Rulemaking
Represented transmission customers in proceedings at the FERC regarding exercise of the right of first refusal and rights to rollover transmission service agreements under Order No. 888
Represent a municipal utility in natural gas pipeline rate and tariff proceedings before the FERC
